Installation Instructions
Always back up your device before installing beta software. You can back up your Apple Vision Pro using iCloud.
macOS
- Unplug your Apple Vision Pro (M5) from the battery and wait 30 seconds.
- Connect your Apple Vision Pro (M5) to your Mac using a Developer Strap. You will need to be running macOS Sonoma (version 14.0 or later).
- Launch Apple Configurator (version 2.17 or later) on your Mac.
- Connect the battery, then immediately press and hold the top button (the button on the left, not the crown).
- Select your Apple Vision Pro (M5) in the Apple Configurator window.
- Drag the Apple_Vision_Pro_M5_27.0.1_24M372_Restore.ipsw file onto the Apple Vision Pro (M5) icon in the Apple Configurator window.
- Confirm the configurator prompt: “All contents on the devices will be erased”.
- Select “Restore”.
