Installation Instructions

Always back up your device before installing beta software. You can back up your Apple Vision Pro using iCloud.

macOS

1. Unplug your Apple Vision Pro (M5) from the battery and wait 30 seconds.
2. Connect your Apple Vision Pro (M5) to your Mac using a Developer Strap. You will need to be running macOS Sonoma (version 14.0 or later).
3. Launch Apple Configurator (version 2.17 or later) on your Mac.
4. Connect the battery, then immediately press and hold the top button (the button on the left, not the crown).
5. Select your Apple Vision Pro (M5) in the Apple Configurator window.
6. Drag the Apple_Vision_Pro_M5_27.2_24N5103f_Restore.ipsw file onto the Apple Vision Pro (M5) icon in the Apple Configurator window.
7. Confirm the configurator prompt: “All contents on the devices will be erased”.
8. Select “Restore”.
